Most people don’t ride motorcycles but for those who do, being stuck without one in an area while on holiday and not be able to visit as many areas as possible can be frustrating.  Some of us find it more enjoyable and challenging to ride our own bike and travel, alone, hundreds of kilometres each way just to experience the ride of a lifetime, thinking that it may be our first and last adventure ride, only to realize later that we are again doing a much longer and more adventurous one. After we’ve done the long distance adventure rides that we can handle then comes the realization that it’s about time to take it easy. But the urge to travel will always be there.
